LEVEL 3 — HANDGUN PROTECTION: Tested for powerful handgun threats, including .44 Magnum. Level 3 is not intended for AR-15 or other rifle threats. LEVEL 7 — 5.56 / COMMON AR-15 PROTECTION: Tested for multiple shots from specified 5.56 mm rifle ammunition—the caliber commonly used in many AR-15-style rifles. Protection depends on the tested ammunition, complete wall design, covered seams, and correct installation.
Select Package 1 or 2 and receive a written estimate by November 5, 2026. SRE will protect the listed panel price while the grant application is reviewed, provided the project scope does not change.
1. Apply for the fund. 2. Complete the required CPTED security assessment. 3. Confirm the materials are eligible and get City approval before buying. 4. Finalize the material and contractor quotes. 5. Complete and pay for the approved work; keep invoices, receipts, and photos. 6. Submit the reimbursement documents. SRE prepares the material estimate; the City decides eligibility and approval.
Material lead time is approximately five weeks after final specifications, delivery requirements, and payment arrangements are confirmed.
FREIGHT CLARIFICATION: The $500 previously described as a freight allowance is an estimated customer-paid freight charge included in the package total—not a credit, discount, reimbursement, or SRE-funded contribution. Freight is paid by the customer or included in the approved grant project. Final freight is charged at the carrier’s actual cost, and any difference will be disclosed and approved before the order is placed. Batten quantities depend on the final layout. Taxes, cutting, additional panels, perimeter battens, installation, and other project requirements are separate.

SRE can review the program, contact the grant administrator about UL 752 panel eligibility, and provide panel information, pricing, specifications, and a project quote.
Grant approval is decided by the funding agency. SRE does not guarantee eligibility or act as a grant writer, contractor, engineer, or code authority.
